This is not an exit

On our way out of Tokyo to go to Osaka for a one day (well one night actually) Tattoo event I leave you with a few last pictures from the black and white roll of film from my Canon AV-1.

I have been thinking lately about why you peeps keep coming to this blog. Not that I think it sucks...I hope not, but if you come here for the tattoo post and the rest is just waste of your precious blog time or if it is a mix of it all. How about some feedback on that. I will most likely just keep doing what I do here anyway but it would be cool to hear what you people like to see here.

On these typed words...see you after the weekend when we are back home in Tokyo.

Hi Allan, im Mikael from Indonesia. I've been following your blog for a certain period of time. I think i've been following it because of your tattoo post. Either the tattoo that you do, or simply the tattoo you got from other artists. In other words, i like tattoo-related posts.

Keep doing what you've been doing mate.

cheers.

I would definitely not come to this blog if you were not a tattooer posting your awesome tattoo pics. When there's a post with none, I still read it, but would be sad after 3 or so posts without one of your cool tattoos or amazing paintings.

Yes, you are your art haha :P

Theres a million and one tattooists blogs and myspace profiles out there all with the same things on them. I like yours because its not like the others. Keep up with the tattoo posts because thats obviously your primary point but dont stop or water down anything else because its what makes this blog more interesting.

I came for the tattoos, and stayed for your fine photography and a general love of narrative.

I started following when we started to sell your flash set with Hunter Spanks on our website. I also added the shop and Amalie's blog to my list at the time. I really like the tattoo posts but I like the variety of your posts as well. It's fun to see what you guys are up to on the other side of the world. Especially because of the parallels in the lifestyles of those of us in this business. I say keep up the variety on your posts! And follow my blog! Hahaha.

You have an earnest curious approach on all that surrounds you, tattoo or not, and that is pretty cool.

The result is an entertaining experience that carries your signature

so do keep things coming !

Cheers dude

obviously I'm a huge fan of your tattoos, but I love the photography too!

My favourite is the little stories about your day etc. I love reading about people's lives and what they get up to, hence me loving your wife's blog too!

more stories please!xxx

I follow your blog because #1, you rule and #2, I love how you always seem to incorporate art into everything you do! Not just tattoos, but your photos, travels and even those themed-cooking nights that you and the wife do. Don't change a thing and just keep being you. Later, dude!!!

B/W is never a mistake my tattooed friend. I beleive this might be one of the few times I've seen you shooting in this medium. I think I will focus on B/W for the elephants as I did last year. I went to a elephant hospital yesterday and my wife wants one for her self by now. Actually, her massage teacher got a baby one from a Burmeses farmer last month. Hard deal to take care of if you don't live in the jungle...we don't!

About the RxKxBx, really happy you accepted the invitation to represent in Denmark (actually you and crazy Mikele the Italian are the whole fuckign E.U representatives for RxKxBx at the moment...our Italian friend is in Norway. We are all looking forward to the UA RxKxBx logo. Out motto is "No Rules" along with "Speeed Is King"' "Fuck the Police" and the all time high level, "FTW" (Forewer Two Wheels....?).

Speak soon.

storytelling is such a great aspect of tattooing world! every word and picture just dive every reader in another experience... which is pretty cool.

Well, why start a topic like the end of a book ?

I follow this blog, occasionally, because I have been big tattoo fan since i was 13 years old, i like art and i love the development of individual artist. Lately when I have been able to aquire tattoos from good artists, it is just fun to see a bit who is behind the tats.

I like all the non-tattoo related stuff you post, it makes for a more interesting read.

Just keep on doing what you do Allan !
